| CBCC At World Summit of Chinese Entrepreneurs Organization
|
The CBCC leading a delegation of 12 attended the 3 World Summit of Chinese Entrepreneurs Organizations held in Harbin China June 12-15, 2006. Over 600 delegates representing 26 countries and regions gathered in the northern city of China; as the largest Chinese business association in Canada the CBCC was the only Canadian organization invited to the event representing Canada. Mr. Sean Hu, CBCC's President, was invited to speak to the general meeting. The event was organized by the Federation of World Chinese Entrepreneurs Organizations. Senior Chinese Government officials came to the convention to greet the delegates.
In addition to the participation in the meeting and discussions on the issue of exchanges and cooperation among the world Chinese business organizations, Team CBCC had opportunities to meet with Chinese senior officials and local business leaders, to network with Chinese business people coming from other parts of the world, to visit local businesses and cooperation projects, and to understand Chinese investment environment. Some CBCC delegates found their investment projects and business partners in China.
