The CBCC held a news conference on November 29, 2012 on the upcoming Chinese Business Excellence Awards & New Year Celebration Gala. About 40 reporters from major Chinese Canadian TVs, daily newspapers, weekly news, web TVs and Web news, attended the conference.
At the conference the CBCC announced that the 8th Chinese Business Excellence Awards & New Year Celebration Gala will be held on the evening of January 12, 2013 at Hilton Hotel in Markham ON (Highway 7 & Warden). The Award Selection Committee has now started accepting nominations.

The Chinese Business Excellence Awards & New Year Celebration Gala is an annual event held in every January to honour successful Chinese Canadians for their entrepreneurial achievement and community service. Organized by the Chinese Business Chamber of Canada (CBCC), the largest Chinese business association in Canada, the event is intended to provide an opportunity for us to share success stories, promote information exchange, and encourage entrepreneurship in the community.
