1) Grand Opening Ceremony of the CBCC Current Affairs Forum.
CBCC Current Affairs Forum is a non-partisan meeting for discussions on current events and issues, community affairs, federal/provincial/municipal elections, international affairs and other matters concerning Chinese Canadians. Participants include CBCC members, members from the media and academics, political and social activists, community leaders, and invited guests. Its purposes are to promote exchange and mutual understanding; to formulate opinions and build consensus; to stimulate interest in politics; and to promote active participation in the democratic process.
